Chris grew up in New Canaan and went
through the public school system, graduating from NCHS in 1999. In high
school he was a three sport athlete in soccer, wrestling and track and
was also a member of the band, jazz band and pit orchestra. Chris has
been involved with the Congregational Church and the YG program for many
years, he was active in YG all through high school and also came back
while in college.
After high school, Chris attended Miami University (OH) where he had the
opportunity to explore a variety of different studies, but he never strayed
too far from working with youth. Chris ultimately decided to focus on
becoming a teacher and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in history with a minor
in coaching in May of 2004.
Chris has been working with youth in many different capacities for most of
his life. While in high school and college he worked at summer camps, after
school programs and as a soccer referee. Currently, he is also the director
of a summer camp in Greenwich where he has worked for the past eight years.
Chris is extremely passionate about working with youth. He is especially
excited to be working with the youth of this church and is looking forward
to the great years ahead.
