Emily grew up in New Canaan, graduating from New Canaan High School in 2000.  While in high school she played lacrosse, was the manager for the varsity football team, played flute in the band and was a member of Coalition, Amnesty International and Young Life.  She also could often be seen at Gates where she worked for many years.

After high school Emily got a merit scholarship to attend Roanoke College in Virginia.  At Roanoke she was a member of the Literary Society and the Campus Activity Board.  She also volunteered as a personal companion and tutor for a three year old girl who was in a full body cast.  She graduated on the dean’s list in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English.

Emily took the summer after college to travel around Europe and now works in sales for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.  She is thrilled to be back for her third year as an advisor for YG.
